What Happens if a Laptop or other computer with my information on it is stolen? This is a featured page

"I have heard on the news that laptop computers and other portable devices containing personally identifiable information have been lost or stolen. What does Advance Response Concepts do to ensure my information cannot be compromised by this type of situation"

The first thing you must know is information protected by law like your social security number and your drivers license number are never transferred from the RAPTOR database to a portable device. Once you are issued a RAPTOR Credential your verified identity resides on the card. This does not mean your SSN or Drivers license number is one the card it means that the identity haven been proven is certified by the card and the certification is protected and ensured by the PKI certificate on the Card. He card then becomes a defacto replacement for other identity proofing documents.

Other publicly available information that some people consider to be sensitive, like your emergency contact information, may be on a local database. In some cases a limited amount of medical information may also temporarily reside on a local database. If you enroll in the RAPTOR system using the RAPTOR REALTIME field station the information collected resides on the local database in that field station. Rest assured it is protected. Not only is the information encrypted but the database has a preset trigger that causes it to erase and electronically shred all the data if it is not transferred from the local database to the master database in our federally approved secure hosting facility. If a laptop from one of these kits is lost or stolen and someone attempts to access or hack the system in any way this action also triggers the destruction of the database.

What are our customers saying about us?

“ I found the importing of verification and medical information to be a quick and easy process. From both a personal and professional point of view, to have my all my medical records and medical information on the card for an emergency situation is reason alone to get involved in the Raptor system”.
