TRAINING refers to a category and process that allow for INDIVIDUAL Learning objectives to be associated with a user’s record. This is useful if you want to track the progress of someone who is in the process of obtaining a Skill Certification. For example You are putting a class of recruits through Basic EMT training. They are currently studying the Studying the Emergency Trauma Care Module. The evening’s class covers Cervical Stabilization, Spinal Immobilization, and emergency moves for endangered patients. These individual TRAINING objectives can be added to the user’s record as he or she completes them. Not only is this a very useful tool for training management within the organization but it allows for emergency use of trainees in critical situations in accordance with their most recently learned skills. The Raptor System relies on two types of verification methods, Administrative and Electronic. Regardless of the methods and final outcome of the Version of RAPTOR you are running, ALL verification begins with the administrative process. In order to make the process easier for Training Administrators RAPTOR allows for individuals to enter in their own certification information. Even though the information is entered in it will not appear in their official record until their Training Administrator has verified it, a 5 second process! As an Training Administrator you are responsible validating the information before completing the Verify transaction. The individual claiming the training classes must be registered, enrolled, and their identity verified in the system in order for a certification to be verified.
