Do I have to enter in my dependents? What is this used for and what are the benefits of listing them?

It is not required that you enter your dependents (spouse and or children still living at home), but a benefit of listing them would be point of contact in case of an emergency for the registrant. Also, in a disaster situation, family members would be included in the registrant’s profile for accountability and rescue evacuation and medical treatment procedures.
