What is an affiliation?
An affiliation is a record that represents your relationship to a particular agency. Within the RAPTOR system you may be a member of multiple agencies with different roles and privileges for each. Typically the first agency affiliation you enter; the one you initially registered with, is considered your primary affiliation.

How to add an affiliation:
In order to add an affiliation to your account your administrator must add an entry into the agency sponsor list with your information. When adding an affiliation; keep in mind that the data you enter must match that which was entered into the agency sponsor list by your administrator. Also note that the information entered by your administrator may not exactly match the information in any of your other affiliations sponsor list, thus you must check with your administrator to verify the information.

To add a new affiliation to your account:

• Log on to the system and click on the “Enroll” link from the menu bar.
• Click the add affiliation button on the bottom of the page below the list of your current affiliations.
• Select the state where the agency is located and then select the agency and department from the dropdown lists. If the agency you are trying to add an affiliation for is not present in the agency dropdown list; then the data has not been entered into the sponsor list for that agency. Should this occur; contact the administrator for that agency.
• Fill in the remainder of the information.
• Click the “Submit” button to complete the process.

If you receive a “Registration denied” error; check with the agency’s administrator to verify the data that was entered into the sponsor list.
